1. Send me your cat photos!

Please email me through the form below or at crescent [at] paintthatcat.com with a photo or photos of your cats, and a little info about your cat (name, personality, fave food, etc!)

See below for tips on picking a good reference photo and some examples of how I translate photos into paintings. If you're not sure what photo to use, feel free to send a few and we can choose together. I'll also work with you to plan color and background adjustments (if any) and answer any questions you might have :)

2. Get your portrait in 4-8 weeks 🥳
From the time I get your photos, please allow 4-8 weeks to receive your painting! The gift certificate covers shipping in the US and Canada. I'll ask for your shipping address over email.

Tips for choosing a reference photo

I usually work closely from the photo reference, so please pick a photo that shows the pose, expression, and lighting that you want for your cat portrait. Try to avoid backlit photos, blurry photos, or photos with deep shadows on kitty's face (unless you are going for that dramatic look!) Other than that, it's up to you!
