I make each portrait with lots of love and care, and it helps to have some details about your cat's personality and who they are to you!

how to order

1. show me your cat!

Please email me (crescent [at] paintthatcat.com) with a photo or photos of your cats, and a little about your cat (name, personality, fave food, etc!)

I'll work with you to select the reference photo, plan color and background adjustments (if any) and answer questions!

2. Place order

Whenever you're ready, add the portrait to your cart, and check out. You can do this step before emailing me too.

I work closely from your photo, so I suggest sending a photo (or photos) of your cat that is evenly lit (no deep shadows on their face), not too busy, and shows the colors of your cat's eyes and fur accurately! If you have any questions, feel free to send me multiple photos and we can choose one together :)

framing & care

Oil paintings on paper can be framed with or without glass. For greater longevity, frame it behind glass with a mat to give some space between the painting and the glass, and avoid putting your portrait in moist areas (kitchen or bathroom) :)
