Please email me (crescent [at] paintthatcat.com) with a photo or photos of your cats, and a little about your cat (name, personality, fave food, etc!)

I'll work with you to select the reference photo, plan color and background adjustments (if any) and answer questions!

2. Place order

Whenever you're ready, add the portrait to your cart, and check out. You can do this step before emailing me too.

I work closely from your photo, so I suggest sending a photo (or photos) of your cat that is evenly lit (no deep shadows on their face), not too busy, and shows the colors of your cat's eyes and fur accurately! If you have any questions, feel free to send me multiple photos and we can choose one together :)

Oil paintings on paper can be framed with or without glass. For greater longevity, frame it behind glass with a mat to give some space between the painting and the glass, and avoid putting your portrait in moist areas (kitchen or bathroom) :)

Please allow 4-8 weeks from placing your order :) Feel free to email me for a closer estimate of the turnaround time, or if you'd like to get it sooner we'll see what we can do!

I am able to cover the cost of shipping to the United States and Canada. If you would like your portrait sent anywhere else, please email me before ordering so I can get you the best price on shipping 💛

I can fit 1 or 2 cats in a portrait. For more than 2 cats, email me ;)
